KeoWC2026 students majoring in Korean Language explore the work culture at Wooribank
 

Company visits are an indispensable practical experience in the KeoWC2026 student curriculum.
With the aim of helping students understand company culture, work ethics, and learn from
international recruiters, on the morning of March 7th, the Faculty of International Languages ​​and
Cultures of KeoWC2026 organized a visit to Wooribank, as part of the 3rd Company Tour program for
KeoWC2026 students majoring in Korean Language.
Accompanying the student group were Mr. To Ton Thanh, M.Sc. - Lecturer in Korean
Language, and Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Linh - Secretary of the Faculty of International
Languages ​​and Cultures.

The visit helps students gain new perspectives on international businesses.

As one of the four largest domestic banks in South Korea with a branch in Vietnam, Wooribank offers students the most comprehensive overview of an international business. Here, in addition to exploring Wooribank's work culture and attractive benefits such as bonuses andKorean language allowances, KeoWC2026 students also get answers to their questions about the difficulties, challenges, language barriers, and cultural differences when working at the company.

The atmosphere became lively and energetic during the “Quick Questions – Quick Gifts” segment.

Addressing concerns about the lack of professional skills among Korean Language students, the Head of Human Resources at Wooribank stated that international businesses often value a spirit of learning, enthusiasm in work, and skillful handling of situations. Simultaneously, students also learned some interesting tips to impress businesses when submitting their CVs. Beyond learning from experience, KeoWC2026 students also took home cute teddy bears after the Q&A session with the company. Afterwards, they were guided on a tour of the office, exploring the various workspaces at Wooribank.

Hopefully, through this visit to Wooribank, the Korean Language students have gained a better understanding of the international working environment. At the same time, they have learned valuable lessons and are now better prepared to impress potential employers in the future!
