NextGen Business Innovator 2026 Contestants Unlock the Power of AI Through Practical Skills

05/25/2026

As AI is becoming an essential tool driving innovation in business and digital content creation, equipping students with the skills to apply technology in practice is increasingly important.

To help competing teams strengthen their creative thinking, improve product development skills, and confidently prepare for the next crucial stage of the competition, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (KeoWC2026) organized Training Workshop 2 on the afternoon of May 23rd with the theme: “AI Mastery: Unlimited Digital Product Creativity” for contestants of the NextGen Business Innovator 2026 competition. The program not only provided practical knowledge about AI but also opened up new perspectives on how technology can support young people in transforming business ideas into reality in the digital era.

NextGen Business Innovator 2026 contestants gained valuable practical insights into AI applications and digital product development

Joining the program were Mr. Vo Hoang Nam - Country Manager of Diaflow, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai - CEO of MakerHub and Founder of Unikorn, and Mr. Tran Bui Quang Linh - Senior Product & Partnership Consultant at ITviecRepresenting the Faculty of Business Administration were M.A. Tran Hoang Nam - Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien - Head of the Commercial Business program, together with contestants from all 13 finalist teams.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers

The workshop atmosphere became lively from the very beginning as speakers raised practical market-related issues: how to develop products that stand out in highly competitive environments, how AI is changing content creation processes, and why young people should learn to use AI as a supporting tool rather than becoming completely dependent on technology.

Instead of approaching AI from the perspective of “replacing humans,” the workshop focused on AI’s positive value in optimizing productivity, expanding creativity, and helping people solve practical problems faster and more effectively.

As the main speaker, Mr. Vo Hoang Nam shared relatable insights into the journey of building AI-driven products while analyzing how technology can support startups and young businesses in market research, idea development, and user experience enhancement. Through practical customer persona case studies, he helped contestants better understand the importance of analyzing customer needs, behaviors, and insights before building products.

The speakers shared practical perspectives on AI application trends in business and content creation

A major highlight of the workshop was the hands-on practice session with the Diaflow platform. The speakers guided contestants through three important practical AI skills, including: automated video and banner creation, AI-powered presentation slide generation, and document research using information synthesis tools. Beyond introducing platform features, the guests also provided direct guidance to each team on effective prompt writing, utilizing AI to create images, videos, presentation slides, and optimizing content for competition projects.

Importantly, the speakers emphasized the importance of using AI intelligently and responsibly. When applying AI in slide design or document research, users must always verify data and authenticate information sources rather than entirely copying AI-generated content. This was highlighted as an essential skill in the digital age, where AI can accelerate processes, but humans remain the decisive factor in ensuring product quality and reliability.

Contestants practiced prompt engineering and applied AI to develop their competition ideas

Through the workshop, participating teams had the opportunity to explore new technologies and gain deeper understanding of how AI is applied in product operations and development within modern business environments. Insights shared by the experts offered KeoWC2026 students a realistic perspective on AI as a “creative assistant” that helps transform ideas into reality more quickly, visually, and professionally. In particular, each team also received one account containing 5,000 credits on the Diaflow platform, enabling them to freely create sales videos, presentation slides, and various other digital products.

With the support of businesses and advanced technology platforms such as Diaflow, the journey at NextGen Business Innovator 2026 is becoming an opportunity for contestants to strengthen their innovative mindset, adaptability, and practical implementation skills, all essential qualities for the young workforce in the AI era. Experiences gained from the workshop are expected to become a strong “launchpad” for teams to deliver impressive breakthroughs at the upcoming Final Round.
