Continuing the series of specialization consultation activities for students of the Faculty of Business Administration, on the morning of May 19, the 2024 cohort of International Business students participated in an orientation session to prepare for the upcoming important stage of study.
The program provided students with a more specific perspective on each specialization, while also helping them better understand their own abilities in order to make suitable choices aligned with their future career orientation.
The consultation session helped KeoWC2026ers gain more basis for choosing a specialization suitable to their abilities and future orientation.
Participating in the consultation session were MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, and PhD. Nguyen Phuoc Thien - Head of the International Business Major. In addition, the session was attended and observed by PhD. Ly Dan Thanh - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, MSc. Tran Hoang Nam - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, and MSc. Nguyen Thai Ha - Vice Director of the Center for Corporate Relations.
During the program, PhD. Nguyen Phuoc Thien directly consulted students on the two in-depth specializations of the International Business major, including Commercial Business and Sales Development, and Retail Business. He helped students clearly visualize the distinctive characteristics of each specialization, differences in training orientation, career opportunities, as well as professional development networks in each field.

Through the analysis of specialized courses, competency requirements, and current labor market trends, KeoWC2026ers were guided on how to “position” themselves in order to choose the specialization most suitable to their abilities, interests, and long-term career goals.
In the following sharing session, MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien introduced contents related to academic regulations, conduct scores, training regulations, and important notes during the specialization registration process. At the same time, she also introduced many academic activities, student movements, and playgrounds for students of the Faculty of Business Administration so that they can actively participate, accumulate experiences, and develop skills throughout their university journey.

Besides academic content, students were also updated with valuable information about international programs and practical experience activities. MSc. Nguyen Thai Ha shared opportunities for studying in an international environment that students can participate in when entering the specialization stage, especially short-term student exchange programs at partner universities and international internship programs.

The consultation session took place in an open atmosphere with many direct exchanges between lecturers and students. Concerns about specialization choices, career orientation, or personal study plans were all specifically answered, helping students become more confident for the next stage of study.
Through the program, the 2024 cohort of International Business students gained a more comprehensive and in-depth perspective before making decisions on choosing their in-depth specialization. This will be an important foundation for them to build an effective study roadmap for the remaining two years of their university journey, while proactively preparing professional competencies for the future.
